Description

I really like stippling, don't get me wrong, but all work and no play makes greg a dull boy. I'm gonna go in another direction for a while. DC baby!

Very nice. I love the way you handled the flesh of the arms. The pose/angle of the boy on the right side has this natural, candid photo-like feel, too, which isn't easy to pull off out of your head IMO. Did you use a reference?

If you look at this pic from far away, the figures remain beautifully easy to make out of. On the other hand -- this is my main crit -- the rest of the picture becomes fuzzy and unclear. Not only that, the "rest of the picture" starts obscuring the people a little, if you zoom out enough. I think this is because the shading on the surroundings isn't as spot-on as the shading on the people.

If you didn't have the time to render the surroundings realistically, I would suggest using lower contrast or something -- so that the main focus of the picture remains nice and FOCUSED even when zoomed out. (I know, most people aren't going to zoom out when they look at this picture, but I think the zoom-out view is important for composition check and stuff)

Overall, good work :)

Awesome work. No experience with this, so I can't think of a particularly constructice comment for this one, but I can tell you that I like it!
